Ashley Beauregard

  • At Owen High School we offer Foods and Nutrition 1 and 2. In the Foods 1 courses we learn the basics of culinary, food safety, meal planning, etiquette, and budgeting. In Foods 2, we aim to become ServSafe certified. We also focus on global cuisine, life cycle nutrition and entrepreneurship.


  • I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2009 with a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Science. I have been teaching at Owen High School since then. I am ServSafe Certified as well as a National Board Certified Teacher. I enjoy teaching students how to expand their culinary skills and abilities.
