Hello and Welcome to 3rd Grade!

I am so glad to jump into this year with some fantastic scholars :) I have been at Johnston since 2020, and I love being part of our Mighty Bear community!

I am an Asheville native, I have a regular education and special education degree from Catawba College, and I have been an English Language Teacher. I also recently earned my National Board Certification.

Working in education and supporting students grow has always been a passion of mine. In our classroom we understand that through kindness  and working to grow our brains we can become helpful and powerful global citizens!
