I began teaching at AC Reynolds in the fall of 1997, graduating from UNCA with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I received National Board Certification in Adolescent and Youth Science in 2008 and renewed in 2018. As an alumni of ACR, I have enjoyed teaching with teachers who were my inspiration for pursuing this profession.

I enjoy spending time with my sons, Zack and Christian, my dog Oshie and my cat Tirrelly. In my spare time, I like reading mysteries and working puzzles.

The best part of teaching is getting to know students and helping them succeed.
