Andy Erickson

Hello all!

I am extremely excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year! I've taught since the Fall of 2020 and I've been teaching at Candler Elementary. since teh Fall of 2022.

I came to teaching because of my own struggles early in my educational journey. My goal is to help every child realize their own potential and thrive inside the classroom and outside of it. 

Education:

• Graduated New College of Florida with a Bachelors in Classical Languages and Computer Science- 2019.

Personal:

• Originally from Key Largo, Florida.

• Living in Asheville since  the summer of 2020.

• I have two wonderful dogs.

• I love the outdoors and  learning.
