Andy Miller

I have taught history and social studies since 1999. I started at Owen HS in 2017 and love this community and its rich history.

I am a native Georgian but have lived and taught in North Carolina since 2011. I earned both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Georgia. I have taught AP US, AP Government, and all of the NC required courses. I earned National Board Certification in 2014.

Students will access all their assignments on Canvas. Parents can also get access as a class observer to see our coursework, lecture materials and readings, and of course detailed grade and feedback information to see in real-time how their student is doing.
