Secondary math educator since 2010.

Local to the Western North Carolina area, I grew up and graduated from Haywood County Schools. I didn't venture far from home for college and attended Western Carolina University where I majored in mathematics and education.

My experience in education includes adventures at the following locations:

  • Dunedin Highland Middle (Pinellas County, FL)

  • Wilmington Early College HS (Wilmington, NC)

  • Buncombe County Early College HS (Asheville, NC)

  • Buncombe County Schools Curriculum Dept (Asheville, NC)

  • Enka High School (Candler, NC)

2022-2023 - I ventured back to the classroom, from my role as a secondary math instructional coach with Buncombe County Schools Curriculum department. After seven years of instructional coaching and collaborating with many math educators in Buncombe County Schools, I was excited to return to the classroom and apply the wealth of knowledge and experience I gained.
