A Little Bit about Me

I started my teaching career at Enka High School many years ago; however, I have spent the majority of my time in Henderson County Schools teaching English classes.   I have also taught Spanish I, ESOL and Reading classes at the local community college.  My certifications are in Secondary English and Reading K-12, where I hold a Master's degree. As for life outside of school, my family and I enjoy most almost all sports and getting outdoors biking and kayaking , but I, personally,  love the beach and go every chance I get. 

I very am excited to be at Cane Creek Middle as the Academic Interventionist. I look forward to getting to know the students, along with their families,  and working with them .
