Hi! My name is Amy and I have been teaching Exceptional Students for 21 years.  I have been a middle school teacher at the Progressive Education Program since 2010.  I earned my bachelor's degree at Appalachian State University in Special Education with a focus on learning disabilities.  Then I completed my Master's Degree at the University of South Alabama in Cross Categorical Special Education.  My husband and I have three wonderful sons and two wild dogs. I love cooking, reading, and photography. I also love teaching and sharing my love for learning with my students! It is absolutely my privilege to get to spend my days with some of the greatest students in the world!
