2nd Grade Teacher

Hello students and families! My name is Miss Cope and I am excited to have your student in my class this year! My first year teaching at Sand Hill-Venable Elementary School is the 2021-22 school year. Go Jets! I grew up in Western NC. I graduated from Western Carolina University in May of 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Psychology. After graduation I took a job as an Intensive Intervention Asst. at Fairview Elementary. I worked there for 5 years. I believe that every student can learn; therefore, I will be your student's biggest supporter and advocate. In my free time I enjoy playing sports, traveling, and spending time with loved ones/friends.
