My name is Alyson Miner and I teach 7th grade science. I graduated from The Evergreen State College in Washington State in 2004 with a Bachelors in Science. After moving to Asheville in 2010, I obtained my teachers license from UNCA.
I have been teaching since 2014. Cane Creek has been my home for most of my teaching career. Go Canes!
My hobbies include mushroom hunting, geocaching, watching TV, reading, gardening and cooking. I have a loving husband, two sons and two cats.
I love getting to know new students every year and teaching them their absolute FAVORITE subject, science.
