Ms. DePriest has been the media specialist at Westview Middle for five years.  She has been a media specialist for eleven years. She also served as media specialist at Boulder Bluff Elementary from 2015-2018,  and media coordinator at Brogden Primary in Dudley, NC,  from 2012-2015. Prior to becoming a media specialist, she taught third grade for two years, and first grade for one.  She earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood education in 2008 at the College of Charleston, her master's in library and information science in 2012 at East Carolina University, and a Specialist degree in library and information science from the University of South Carolina in August 2022. Ms. DePriest loves being a librarian, and is always trying to find new, exciting ways to help students and teachers, and is always ready to talk about books! 

Mrs. Jefferson has served Westview Middle School in various capacities for over 37 years. She is an integral part of the Warrior community. She is always happy to lend a hand or suggest a great new book to read!
