This will be my second year at WPES, but it is my 27th year teaching! For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher.  Every year brings new students, joys, challenges and opportunities to grow.  Last year, I transferred from MKES, which I called home for 17 years.  My favorite subjects have always been math and science.  I love anything associated with nature! Being outdoors brings my family and I much happiness, especially being on the water.  The best part about teaching is seeing the world through different eyes, and build a community where all of those differences are accepted, embraced and viewed as something we can all learn from.  My goal is to be one step in the grand journey of developing confident, fun loving, problem solving, positive members of our community.

Anne Olivieri

I've been teaching for over 25 years in Westchester County.  I did my undergraduate work at the University of Rhode Island.  I received my Masters from Fordham University in NYC and continued my post graduate education at Manhattanville in Purchase.

I grew up in Westchester with nine siblings.  My parents still live in the house we grew up in.  We are all still close and so are all of the 30 grandchildren because my parents host our grand and hectic gatherings for holidays and birthdays.

I raised my two amazing daughters in Armonk and Bedford.  They are in college and graduate school and we Facetime every day.

My free time is spent visiting friends and family, exercising, cooking or reading.  I enjoy running, boxing and lifting weights.  As a life- long learner, I'm always studying ways to be a better teacher.

This is my 28th year of teaching. I have returned to West Patent and I am so happy to be back with familiar and new faces, alike! We have a wonderful school community! I love working for Bedford CSD and proudly also reside in-district. My family and I live with our two adorable pups, Teddy and Indiana Jones. If you see me around town, please be sure to say hello! I have many Interests, but I am most passionate about children.
