Hello Garza Families,

Welcome back to our 2023-2024 school year! I am beyond excited to see what this year of innovation will bring & more than ready to create more memorable moments along with all of you!

With that being said, I want to take a moment to introduce myself, as some of you might not know me. My name is Maira Perez and I am the Family and Community Engagement Liaison (FACE)  at Garza Elementary. As the FACE Liaison, I can be found connecting our Lion families to resources within our school, District, and community.

Although this year will look much different than others, please know that physically, or virtually, I will continue to support and provide our families with the tools needed to help our students reach academic success. 

I hope to see all of you during our Parent Education Sessions, Parent Cafe, Family Education Nights, and other meetings.
