Required Criteria:
Plan to pursue an undergraduate academic degree in human medical sciences
OR another field in the healthcare industry
Acceptance to an accredited college or university for Fall 2023
Minimum GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 (non-weighted) scale
Application deadline is February 24, 2023

This year Ellevation's is awarding 10 current or former English Proficient students with a $2,000 scholarship towards their pursuit of higher education.

The 2023 SBWC Scholarship registration is now open to any High School seniors, and undergraduate and graduate students studying conservation, fisheries, natural resources, and law enforcement. All they are asking for is an essay from the applicant on their background, goals, and the college plan to attend or are already attending. This is an online application only. Applications are now being accepted for the J. Russell and Gladys Irene Carmell Scholarship Fund. This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America®. Scholarship America is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.
Applicants must:
• Be U.S. citizens who have resided in the Tri-County, MI area (Bay, Midland, and Saginaw counties) for a minimum of four years before application.
• Be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class and not have graduated more than one year before application.
• Plan to enroll in full-time study at an accredited two or four-year college or university or a vocational-technical school for the entire 2023-2024 academic year leading to a nursing degree (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Nurse Anesthetist).
