CNHS 2022-23 Start of School Information

START OF SCHOOL INFORMATION LETTER

DEAR BULL DOG:

Summer is passing quickly and we are looking forward to your return. I am excited about getting together again in our school building and interacting with students and staff. We encourage you to take time to enjoy your summer activities. Begin now to make choices that will put you in the best position to have a positive educational experience this year. Make sure that you don’t allow the things that matter least, to disrupt the things that matter the most. Check out our website for the most current information in reference to the start of the 2022-23 school year.

As professional educators, we recognize that our school is the sum of its parts…staff, students, family, and community. We feel our “parts” are the best of the best and are thrilled that you have chosen to allow us to be a part of your future educational successes. In choosing to attend CNHS, we know that your priorities are centered around challenging yourself academically, athletically, and in extracurricular activities.

As a student at Columbus North you are in great company! You will be surrounded by students just like you, students, who want to make a positive difference in the world. Prepare now to take advantage of this opportunity by getting involved in one of the many activities/clubs at CNHS. Now, as you join the Bull Dog Nation, we are united in our purpose for each student to get the most out of their high school educational experiences.

The first day of school is Thursday, August 4th, 2022. We will begin at 7:45 a.m. by meeting in your first period class to get updated schedules, fill out emergency cards, and take care of other “beginning of the year” business.

Our staff has spent time this summer preparing the building, their rooms, and improving their instructional methodologies to better serve you. We look forward to helping you prepare for your future. I am confident that working together we will find a way to make your educational experience as a Bull Dog a rewarding one. Immersion in the “Bull Dog Way,” will assist each student to be Respectful, to be Responsible, and to build appropriate educational Relationships. On behalf of the Columbus North administration, faculty and staff, I welcome you to a new school year.

Sincerely,

David D. Clark, Principal Columbus North High School
