We have answered some frequently asked questions below:
YES. English classes and HSE classes are free.
If you are registering for ELL (English) classes, you don't have to bring anything.
If you are registering for HSE classes and are 16-17 years old, you MUST bring an exit form from your previos high school. If you are over 18, you do not need to bring an exit form from your previous high school. Please bring a state photo ID for registering. You will have to pre-pay for the HSE exam.
If you are unable to make it to your scheduled orientation, please call McDowell (812-376-4452) and ask to speak with Debbie Pogue. She is the Orientations Coordinator and will set up a better suitable date and time for both McDowell and you.
No. Mcdowell does not keep copies or any forms of diploma. You must go to: https://diplomasender.com to order your diploma.
Please, let your instructor of the day know you will be absent, so they can mark it on their attendance papers.
That all depends on you as the learner.
If you are able to dedicate time to your learning and improving while doing so, you will be more efficient in your learning process. If you take breaks or aren't as consistent with your learning, it will take you much longer.
