The student who received an F in the course and is re-taking the course to recover credits. Whole grade policy applies.
The student who received a C+ or lower in a course and is re-taking the course for a higher grade. Whole grade policy applies.
The student taking the course for the first time. Credit accrual courses usually require more class work. Plus or minus grades can be awarded for credit accrual courses. Twelve (12) point scale can be used.
90% higher--A
80% higher--B
70% higher--C
60% higher--D
At this time, Summer School is an elective option for students. Grades are entered into PowerSchool once the course has been completed.
If a student does not complete the class, or withdraws from the class, no grade is issued.
If a student receives an F in their summer school course, no grade is entered into PowerSchool.
