We recommend renting from Paige's Music because we know that your child will receive a quality instrument that will arrive on time with all the necessary accessory items to make their first day of band go smoothly! Even if you are considering other options, starting band with a Paige's Music rental will likely be the least expensive way to try band before making a longer commitment. This is why:
Regardless of how you obtain an instrument, your child will need additional items to begin playing: the proper music book, music stand, valve oil for brass, drumsticks for percussion, reeds for clarinet/sax, etc. Paige's Music has bundled all the necessary items into a "Starter Pack" for $45.96 (including tax). With this one-time purchase, your first month's instrument rental is completely FREE. So, this is a very economical way to try band for one month with a minimal investment. If you decide not to continue within that first month, simply return the instrument to your director, keep the starter pack, and your rental contact will be cancelled before payments begin.

Routine maintenance and repairs are free -a free loaner is provided if your instrument goes into the shop. If the instrument is lost due to theft or fire, it is replaced at no charge. Paige's Music comes to our schools weekly to pick up repairs and to drop off loaners and customer orders.
All of your monthly rental payments apply toward ownership. Cancel and return the instrument at any time.
If your child decides to change instruments, your previous rental payments still apply to ownership. Typically, students stay with their first choice, but if you and your director decide a change is the right move, renting through Paige's Music makes this a smooth transition.
