Lisa Warner
Mrs. Warner was trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and pointe at a Phoenix area dance studio for 12 years during her youth. She performed on a competition and performance team while attending her dance studio. While in high school and college, she performed on dance teams and cheerleading squads. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education and Masters of Arts in Education focusing on Physical Education and Curriculum and Instruction. Post graduation, Mrs. Warner taught dance and physical education for local high schools in Arizona and served as guest choreographer for numerous high school programs and musical productions. Later, she served as a principal at an at-risk high school and then a stay-at-home mom, but continued her passion for dance by teaching at local dance studios. She has taught at various dance studios in Arizona, Colorado, and Texas for the past 35 years and most recently taught at Greater Austin Dance Academy in Round Rock for 13 years.
Mrs. Warner started the Lady Bellas drill team in 2016 and it has developed into a JV and Varsity team in high school, a Jr. Bellas team in middle school, a pre-team Bellas for 4th & 5th graders and a Bitty Bellas team for K4-3rd grade. She and her husband have three adult daughters who were all members of the Lady Bellas drill team. Her middle daughter was head captain of the Texas State Strutters and her youngest daughter is an assistant line captain on the Texas State Strutters. This will be Mrs. Warner’s tenth year as the Lady Bellas Director.
