Mrs. Saville's Counseling Page

Announcements and News

Welcome back to a new school year! I am so excited to have everyone back at school and ready to meet our new students. Here are a few highlights about what is going on in the school counseling program:

*Students are having weekly or bi-weekly S.O.A.R. class with Mrs. Saville.

*My small groups will begin this month and continue through the semester. If your student signed up or was recommended for a small group, then your student will bring home a letter to let you know.

*Students, parents, and teachers can all make referrals for a student to meet with me in small groups or individually.

*Lessons on problem solving, careers, gratitude, and caring will be featured over the next two months.

If you would like to contact me please email me at lsaville@bcps.k12.va.us

My Students

As your school counselor I strive to do my part to make Troutville Elementary a school that stands for excellence and provide equitable access to education for all students.

I see my role as school counselor to advocate for all students and our school community.  I hold true to the values of diversity and inclusion to help ensure every member of our school community will thrive.

I will lead by modeling good character, displaying empathy, embracing justice, and inspiring hope.
