The Botetourt County School’s Student Assistance & Prevention Program (SAPP) recognizes that a student’s academic success could be directly impacted by their mental health and other life stressors. To help students at risk, SAPP provides prevention, early intervention, post intervention, and support services to promote academic achievement, personal growth, and well-being. While SAPP is not able to provide diagnosis or long-term treatment services, it is our goal to assist students and their families through a collaborative effort of support through individual and group counseling opportunities as well as referrals to appropriate community resources.
