About the Teacher

I'm so excited to be teaching in the Gifted program again this year.  

I received my Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University in 2004, and my teaching license from Mary Baldwin University in 2006.  My Master's Degree is from Mary Baldwin University and I recently added on a Gifted Endorsement from University of Virginia.  

I started teaching in 2007.  I began teaching in Roanoke City for 11 years, and taught 3rd and 4th grades at Greenfield Elementary after that for several years.  For the past several years, I began working with Gifted students at Breckinridge, Buchanan, and Eagle Rock Elementary Schools.   I love teaching, but I also love learning!
