LB Reads is a school wide reading incentive program. The goal of the program is to encourage reading for pleasure and to build community through a shared reading list.
This is the 8th annual LB Reads program, developed to encourage students to pick up a book over the summer for fun reading. This program asks that students read one or more books off of a school-approved list of books that spans many different genres such as nonfiction, realistic fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction in order to make sure that every student has something that will appeal to them. Students are encouraged, not required, to participate.
