Our class is really starting to settle into being at school. All are consistently following classroom rules, procedures, routines, and expectations. I appreciate your support at home and look forward to more success as the year progresses.
This week our stations and lessons will focus on the topics below with a theme of Eric Carle books, games, activities, and crafts. Each student will share their all about me poster this week, so please send those in on Monday. I have only received a few.

PTA Board Meeting at 5:30 at Greenfield Elementary in the Art Room. All are welcome to attend.
Wednesday, 8/26: Letter H, 10
Thursday, 8/27: Letter I, Review numbers 1-10

Lock Down Drill
August 17-21
This week we will continue to build classroom routines and procedures along with starting academic work. We will practice letters A-E and numbers 0-7. While we have not started any homework or skills practice routines (begins after Labor Day), please make it a habit to read to or with your child each evening. We will have our first fire drill this week. I have shared with the class when the drill will be and we have practiced, too.

Wednesday, August 12th: First Day of School
Lunch--Cheeseburger
School arrival is from 7:30-7:50. Kindergarten students will be greeted on the sidewalk by Greenfield faculty and staff members in the car rider line or when they get off the bus. There will be lots of adults assisting them to their classrooms, as well as 5th grade student leaders helping our newest Dragons!
