To fulfill the "Science of Reading" state and district requirement, all classroom teachers in grades K-3, including Special Educators and ELD teachers are required to attend the 3-part Baseline Course "Science of Reading" on the January, March and May Systemic PD days. Teachers who completed the “Foundational Literacy Institute” in the summer 2022 or 2023 are exempt from this requirement. See the document below for details.
