Who? The Bright Minds Academy program is designed for current kindergarten through 5th graders who are identified as gifted, advanced, or talent development. And students who have not been identified as GAL but show signs of giftedness, such as asking critical questions, showing creativity, or thinking deeply about content through abstract connections.
What? Bright Minds Summer Academy is designed in collaboration with the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Students will enroll in a unique, engaging, and academically challenging environment where they explore coursework that cultivates critical thinking, problem-solving, innovation, and creativity alongside other bright kids who love learning.

Current K-5th graders (Who will be rising 1st through 6th graders at the end of the school year)

Registration:
Please click on this link to complete the application for your student. You will be notified of your student's acceptance, usually within two weeks of completing the application. Please make sure your student will be able to attend the full session before registering. If your student is absent for more than one day, we may fill their seat from our waitlist.
COST:
None for any City School student who attends a traditional school.
Students who attend a charter school are not eligible to attend the program this year.
