I thought about radical health, healing and movement building in terms of care and community and safety beyond policing, etc. and I thought these plants would be a cute metaphor. They are plants that grow alongside each other to ward off pests and to attract pollinators; tomatoes and marigolds, nasturtiums and brussels sprouts and borage and strawberries (the flowers around the border). These plants also have the qualities of sustenance as food and can be used for medicinal purposes.
