Module 4: Partnering in Prevention

Helping Our Families Through Community

We are working together to prevent and/or reduce alcohol and marijuana use by youth through collaboration, education, and policy change. The Coalition’s purpose is to equip and empower communities to combat substance abuse in a comprehensive and coordinated manner. Using local student drug use survey data, the Coalition works with partners to reduce youth drug use and increase resiliency and wellness in the community.

We partner with other coalitions in the community to achieve these goals. For more information about our partners click on the image or link to access the website.

One of our largest ongoing partner projects is collecting county-wide self-reporting student drug use data. The PRIDE Student Survey collects comprehensive, accurate, and reliable information about attitudes towards and usage trends regarding student substance use and abuse. This survey is administered every 2 years 14,493 Butler County students participated across 7 school districts. Click on the link to see the survey results.
