This year two teams were finalists in the Conrad Spirit of innovation challenge. Both teams were in the energy and environment challenge category. After two qualifying rounds, these teams presented at the Innovation Summit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Both teams presented their pitch on the main stage. Deer Misses was awarded the Lemelson-MIT Invent award which qualified them to compete for a $10,000 grant to improve upon their prototype.
