The Beyond Slough & Langley team are committed to providing student centred, individualised information, advice and guidance to every student. By making Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) a core part of the learner experience, we can enrich and develop each student in a holistic way, giving them the confidence to take their subject learning out into the world to achieve their full potential. Empowering students to take control of, not just their future, but their learning in college, helping them to see the relevance in all they do. Integrating IAG into subject areas, combined with specialised support, will help to broaden student horizons and help them explore the wider world while still in the supported environment of the College - ultimately improving the quality of student destinations.
IAG has progressed tremendously in the last few years and Beyond Langley embraces these changes. Careers advice is no longer about telling students what career to do, but guiding them through a process of research and self discovery to find what is right for them. With this in mind we have created a refreshed process for students and staff to make sure they receive the most relevant and useful advice - Careers Track
