Academic advising is integral to the life and mission of the Clough School of Theology and Ministry (CSTM). Advisors support and guide students as they clarify their academic goals, and situate those goals in the context of the aspirations that brought them to the CSTM.

At CSTM, we believe that theology can never be only an academic study—it must be a personal, spiritual pursuit that actively envelops one’s entire being. That’s why we support students with a variety of opportunities for reflection, prayer, worship, retreats, and spiritual direction. Many of our degree programs include an intentional spiritual formation component, and our students are valued members of faith communities across the Boston area. This website is a hub for opportunities offered by the CSTM and beyond.
New and returning students, lay and religious, are invited to participate in the liturgical life of the CSTM community by volunteering to serve in one or more of our liturgical ministries. Liturgical ministers are needed for weekday masses on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the CSTM Chapel and our Thursday Community Liturgy at St. Ignatius Church. We welcome people in the following ministries: Acolyte, Deacon, Greeter, Lector, Music Ministry, including Choir and Instrumentalists, Ministers of Communion, Priests (faculties needed from RCAB), and members of the liturgy committee.
Training and orientation for CSTM Liturgical Ministers (acolytes, lectors, EMs) are scheduled during the first two weeks of the semester. Ministers will be assigned after they attend this training and orientation.
