Are you an undergraduate student, faculty member, or academic advisor at a college or university in the United States that closed in-person classes due to the COVID-19 outbreak? If so, we would like to hear from you! We are currently conducting a research study examining the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak on undergraduate college students and their academic communities. We hope to find out how colleges and universities in the United States can best support college students during and after disasters such as the COVID-19 outbreak.
Your participation in this study is voluntary and would be greatly appreciated. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to fill out an online survey, which will take approximately 30 minutes. This survey will ask about your demographic information, your experiences with COVID-19, and your mental health. You will have the option to participate in a raffle for a $40 gift card as compensation for your time and participation in the online survey. We are offering seven $40 gift cards, with one gift card being offered for every 50 participants, up to 350 participants. Some select participants may also be invited to participate in an in-depth interview. Please note that Boston College students and employees are not eligible to participate in this study, as Boston College students and employees are not eligible for the study’s participant incentives.
