Emily Chen is a first-year PhD student in the English Department at Boston College. Her research interests include Asian American studies, Cold War cultural studies, and memory studies. Prior to Boston College, she completed a BA in English at University College London (UCL) and an MA in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. She is also a doctoral fellow at Boston College’s Clough Center for Constitutional Democracy for the 2025–2026 academic year.
