The Design for Impact 2024 Summit at Boston College is a collaborative celebration and culmination of the application of a design thinking and innovation mindset to explore, analyze, and help solve complex real-world problems using human-centered, multidisciplinary approaches.
Students and their supervisors from Wentworth, Virginia Tech, and Clemson University will travel to Boston College to present their Fall 2024 Design for Impact projects along with BC colleagues and supervisors. This year's problem has been 'Designing Life Transitions' in response to the 2024-2025 Stanford Longevity Challenge. Teams have worked from a human-centered, interdisciplinary lens -including architecture, applied psychology, business, computer science, engineering, transformative education, history, industrial design, and environmental studies - to address complex, real-world problems.
Guests are welcome to join us for the DFI Summit Lunch and/or DFI Team Presentations. RSVP to either/both is required and will be sent out shortly.
