Four core courses:
Financial Accounting (ACCT1021)
Fundamentals of Finance (MFIN1021)
Corporate Finance (MFIN1127)
Investments (MFIN1151)
Two electives:
One from a set list
Another Finance elective (can be another class from the above list or any other MFIN class)
Students need four semesters to complete a Finance Minor. Financial Accounting must be taken first, followed by Fundamentals of Finance. Next, students can take Corporate Finance and Investments. Corporate Finance and Investments are prerequisites to most of the available electives.Â
Students interested in taking a 6000 level elective require senior status and permission from the Finance Department.
