All Carroll School students must complete 120 credits and fulfill specific concentration requirements to earn their bachelor's degree. Degree requirements are met according to the University Core Curriculum, the Carroll School Core Curriculum, and departmental requirements for concentrations.

BCOM1021 Essential Business Communications (Fall and Spring)
Restricted to Sophomores and second semester Freshmen in the Carroll School of Management
Essential Business Communication is a one-credit pass/fail asynchronous course designed to support students transitioning from academic to business writing and preparing them for on-the-job communication. Students learn how to boost their business writing and presentation skills through various activities, including analyzing audiences, writing everyday business communication, collaborating, and presenting. Instructors and writing coaches provide individualized feedback to students in this online environment. The course will be offered in one five-week term within a semester.
UGMG2222 Career Accelerator (Fall and Spring)
Restricted to Sophomores and second semester Freshmen in the Carroll School of Management
This 1-credit pass/fail course consists of eight 90 minute sessions designed to ensure that you learn the following: How to identify your top skills/interests and explore career fields that are a good match; Write an effective resume/cover letter; How to talk about yourself to employers; How to network effectively and utilize the BC network; How to Interview to get the job; How to use Social Media to your advantage; and more
UGMG4917 Internship Practicum (Fall, Spring, Summer)
Carroll School students who have completed courses through the second semester of freshman year are eligible to seek a one-credit pass/fail course for an unpaid/paid internship. Students are responsible for securing the internship themselves. Registration for the one-credit course is done through the Senior Associate Dean’s Office, and must be initiated prior to the end of the drop/add period. Complete this form to be enrolled in this course.
