Our survey aims to enhance AFAB's success in fulfilling their goals by collecting much needed data on Haitian immigrant's experience with policing, ICE, court systems, and sexual assault. Our main focus was understanding people's intersectional experience as immigrants with sexual assault and law enforcement, focusing on but not limited to Haitian immigrants.
“In terms of AFAB, this survey will be a good opportunity for us to gain more data not just from people we have provided sources to. This will give us a wider picture of how domestic violence affects our community. We will be able to target specific neighborhoods and specialize our services to best work with them.”
