The mission of Violence in Boston is to improve the quality of life & life outcomes of individuals from disenfranchised communities by reducing the prevalence of violence and the impact of associated trauma.
VIB's SIC was established to prevent and reduce the impact of violence by addressing immediate and basic needs: housing, food, clothing, and public safety for the disenfranchised residents of the City of Boston.

Reduction of BPS students & families experiencing food insecurity
Improvement in mental health among residents
Reduction of health disparities in communities of color
