As I mentioned in the intro and throughout the website, I do regret being bogged down by the learning process. In fact, the a good majority of the time spent after building was invested in learning blender. It forced me to reduce the scope of the project just to produce something and even what I created isn't something I'm 100% satisfied with. I feel that maybe if I had better anticipated the work that would've been required, I could have done a lot more. A good way to say it is that this project feels more like the result of what I learned rather than the result of something I created.
Size(in blocks) of the temple and the surrounding forest : 48767 blocks
Time spent in game building: 18 hours
Time spent in blender: 4 hours
Most tabs of tutorials open at once: 15
Number of Pringles cans consumed during the project: 3
Number of times that Blender crashed during important moments: 2
To end on a more positive note, I did truly enjoy this project. Learning everything has only made me more sure of whether or not I enjoy this. The answer being I do of course. I think the more impressive part of this project is just how much I was able to do in such a short amount of time. As I learn and practice more, I can only imagine the next thing I attempt to make could only be better given that I now actually have my footing in the software.
