I was born a very long time ago, during the tumultuous 1980's in beautiful Worcester. I grew up just down the road in Shrewsbury and I've lived there most of my life. I attended Shrewsbury High School and later UMass Amherst. After graduating from UMass, my focus was American Literature with a minor in classics, I enrolled in a cohort program through the School of Education at UMass. After completing this intensive, community-based program I had my master's degree and I was ready to start working.
My first teaching job was at Bartlett High School in Webster, MA. I loved working with the kids in Webster and I had some wonderful mentors. After three quick years at Bartlett, an opportunity arose at Tahanto and I've been here ever since. It's been more than 12 years now. I've truly lost count.
Somewhere along the way of my learning and teaching journey, I met and married my wonderful husband Tim. He is an automated systems engineer. We have two daughters, Allison and Elena, who keep us very busy and make us laugh every day. We live in Boylston.
