Welcome to my personal website. 

I am currently part of the scientific staff at the Centre for Planing and Development of Social Services (ZPE) of  the faculty of ecucation, architecture and arts at the University of Siegen in Germany. There, I`m busy with Research and Consultancy Projects into different different fields of social work in the Social and Health Sector and Lectures with an focus on an organizational perspecitve of Social Services, Welfare State Arrangements, Social Entrepreneurship Studies and Practice Research.

Previously, I was Director of an service provider for people with disabilies and worked at the head office. I studied Social Pedagogy and Work at the University of Applied Science in Nijmegen (Netherlands) and Ethics, Economics and Psychology at the University of Applied Science in Cologne. 

My research focus  on qualitativ-empirical research in the field of social services in the social and the health sector, both in an reflective, development-comparative and planing perspectives. The subject of the research is not only the production of empirical knowledge, but also (self-)critical reflection on the entire research process and its situatedness, including (grounded) theory formation.The research locates itself in the reconstructive research of practice and field research and builds on other (inter)disciplinary approaches to critical social research.  My publications often involve the collection of new data in research reports which I make available through this site. I mostly publish in German, but some works are also summarized in English.
