When conducting Internet searches, there are certain symbols and terms that can be helpful:
Use Quotation Marks "" to get a direct quote or words in a certain order.
- "We Were Liars"
Use NOT (yes in all capital letters) or - to leave something out of your search.
- Brecksville Bees NOT honeybees
- subliminal messages -dream
- use -pinterest.com to get ideas that are not on a certain website (ie: pinterest)
Use AND (yes in all capital letters) to make sure that two or three terms are all included in your search.
- "We Were Liars" AND "E. Lockhart"
- "Young adult literature" AND "authors"
Use + to make sure Google doesn't change your word to a synonym.
