This year, 6th and 7th graders will take the AVID elective as part of the "wheel" of electives, meeting once every three days, for a total of 2 days out of the 6 day elective cycle. Our focus for this year is to introduce the components of AVID that students will not be receiving in their core content classes or other related arts, specifically, focusing on college and career readiness.
