About Me

Hello! I’m Mrs. D’Amore. I have been teaching 30 years and I absolutely love my job! I am a certified Reading Specialist with master's degrees in Literacy and Elementary Education.   I began my career as an elementary classroom teacher and have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. For the last 20 years, I've been a reading specialist in both NY and NJ.  I grew up on Long Island and moved here from NY seven years ago. My husband and I have four children between us and one dog named Lily.  I am so excited to be your reading teacher and look forward to a fabulous year together!
