Bharatiya Bengali Cultural Club of Calgary BBC3 is a registered non-profit organization strives to promote cultural, social, religious and charitable activities for Bengali families living in Calgary from the Indian-Canadian diaspora. We promote and contribute to the Calgary community our diversity, rich cultural heritage and multiculturalism from our background as Bengali speaking Indian-Canadian resident.

At BBC3, we see Durga Puja as a celebration that belongs to all of us—a time to come together, share joy, and create something truly special as a community. This celebration becomes grand and memorable only when each of us contributes in our own way.

Ronge Ronge Barsho Baran (রঙে রঙে বর্ষবরণ) ‘Ronge Ronge Barsho Baran’ (রঙে রঙে বর্ষবরণ): A Colorful Spring Celebration in Calgary!
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, BBC3 brought the spirit of spring to life with ‘Ronge Ronge Barsho Baran’ (রঙে রঙে বর্ষবরণ) —a fundraising event that blended the colors of Holi, the warmth of Bengali culture, and the irresistible flavors of traditional cuisine.
Guests enjoyed a delightful afternoon filled with music, dance, playful bursts of Aabir/Gulal, and plenty of "adda" (casual conversations) in true Bengali style. The festive atmosphere was a perfect setting to welcome the Bengali New Year and the joys of spring.
The Food Fair was the heart of the event, offering a mouth-watering array of Bengali favorites including:
Chicken Patties, Chow Mein, Polai, Dahi Vada, Butter chicken, Rice & Fish, Fuchka, Paatishapta, Luchi, Alu Dom, Chop, Ghugni, Masala Chai, Bengali Sweets, …and many more!
It was a memorable day of community, culture, and culinary delight—truly a celebration to remember!
