Beyond Bars Arts Initiative (BBAI) is a unique rehabilitation program that uses the power of art to unlock the potential of inmates, fostering personal growth and transformation.
We believe that creative expression can be a catalyst for change, empowering prisoners to break free from the cycle of crime, rediscover their humanity, and contribute positively to society.
BBAI was founded with a single belief: that even in the darkest places, regardless of any physical restrictions, creativity can spark light. Since 2019, we’ve been working with inmates, helping them find a new path through the art they create.
We distribute these artworks worldwide, sharing their stories of redemption and hope with people across the globe.
