Excelsior Scholarship Program - this scholarship allows students to attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition-free. The program covers tuition for eligible SUNY and CUNY students. For the 2022-23 academic year, families who earned $125,000 or less in the tax year 2020 are eligible to apply
FAFSA on the Web - Free Application for Federal Student Aid
Enhanced Tuition Reward Program - provides tuition awards to students who are New York State residents attending a participating private college located in New York State. Recipients will receive $6,000 through a combination of their TAP award, ETA award and a match from their private college

Early Decision (ED)
- Deadline is October - November 15. You will receive a decision in mid-December
- This is a binding agreement - if accepted, you MUST attend and withdraw applications for other schools
- You can only apply to 1 school using early decision
Early Action (EA)
- Deadline (depending on school) is October - December. You will receive a decision in late December or January
-This is a non-binding agreement - if accepted you do not have to attend this school
-Reply date - May 1st
Regular Decision (RD)
- Deadline (depending on school) is December 1 - February 1
CUNY - February 1
SUNY - between January 1-January 15
Private - varies
-Reply date - May 1st
Rolling Admission
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis
- The earlier you apply, the earlier you will receive a response
