About Me

Hello, I am a native of Panama City and my family has been in the Panhandle of Florida since the early 1700s. I attended our local schools - Panama City Christian School, Springfield Elementary, Oscar Patterson Sixth Grade Center, Everitt Junior High, Rutherford High School, and Gulf Coast State College.

Immediately after high school, I worked at Tyndall AFB prior to living in Germany for a few years. Upon my return to Panama City, I ended up working at Sallie Mae in Private Student Loans, which introduced me to the use of technology in the business world. After over 16 years, I returned to Gulf Coast State College and became a Registered Respiratory Therapist. While working as a respiratory therapists, I decided that I would substitute in my spare time. Substituting made me realize that my dream of becoming a teacher still existed and I returned to school and received my bachelor degree in education from Liberty University.

This will be my 7th year teaching, but my 2nd year at North Bay Haven Charter Academy. I am so excited to be a Buccaneer and look forward to the 2020 - 2021 school year.
