If you have not yet registered in Okta yet,

Go to the portal website at baycove.okta.com it will prompt you to sign in.
Enter your Active Directory (network) username/login followed by @baycove.org
This is the same username you use for Google, Dayforce, Electronic Handbook, IS Service Desk, VPN, etc.
For example, the network username/login csmith becomes csmith@baycove.org
Click Next.
Click link labeled "Forgot password?".
Follow the instructions to verify yourself through the Okta Verify App, Email, or by Voice (Phone Call) or SMS message.
If choosing push notification first, wait for the app to receive the message:
After verifying the first method, you need to verify with another one of the remaining methods.
Since you most likely are unable to login through email, Click "Select" next to the "Phone" option.
Click "Receive a code vis SMS"
Enter to code you received on your phone
Choose your own password and re-enter it again.
Remember this password.
Password requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- A lowercase letter
- An uppercase letter
- A number
- No parts of your username
- Does not include your first name
- Does not include your last name
- Not the same as any of your last 5 passwords
Password recommendations:
- Avoid using common terms in passwords that are easy to guess. (For example: password, pwd, pass)
- Avoid using terms that are easy to discover about you. (For example: your birthdate, the city of your birth, your family member's names, your pet's names)
- Include at least one special character (! @ # $ % & and so forth) if they are accepted by the application.
Click Reset Password.

Passwords for the following applications are the same and coordinated through Okta.
The passwords for other applications are not automatically coordinated through Okta. You must change your passwords with the instructions provided.
