6. Fingers on home row, Home row is (asdf on left hand and jkl; on right hand) you can feel a bump on F and J keys, which helps to line up your fingers.

7. Nothing touching but your fingertips.

8. In Typing.com, do first lesson (J,F, and Space) looking at your fingers. You need to get all three stars, if not redo. After you complete lesson 1. Redo the whole thing without looking at the keyboard (use your covers). Virtual may need to make a cover or put a hand towel over your hands while typing. 2nd time you do not have to watch the videos, but if you need to, please do. Then go to lesson 2 (u, R, and K keys) and repeat as you did with lesson 1. We will do this with each lesson.

9. When you finish each lesson you can go to the games after I see all your stars are yellow. Games are at the top right side. Virtual have someone check your stars, please. Always use your home row fingers on the game. You should type about 35 mins. Please take breaks, and rest your fingers and back. Virtual students please do not get ahead of your class and sometimes I may need you to redo a lesson, If I see we are having trouble at school.
